On the edge of the Albion plateau

Cottage in a stone house surrounded by lavender fields. The 45 m2 gite is accessible by an outside staircase. The terrace at the top of the stairs overlooks the garden and the surrounding countryside. You can easily watch the children play in the garden or simply enjoy the sun with friends after the walk. The living room with a very well equipped kitchen for this size of gîte: dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, television. Two bedrooms: one of 15 m2 with a 140 bed and a large closet and another upstairs of 8m2 with a 90 bed and an extra bed. The bathroom in the center of the house with shower and toilet. In addition to the barbecue, a wood oven is available to prepare pizzas and bread. A large garage under the house is reserved for you. Discover the local products made on site by the owners: honey, essence of lavender, chestnuts, chestnut cream, spelled…

To do on site: Hiking and mountain biking, Ruins of the old village of Redortiers, hamlet of Contadour. Forests of pines, firs, holm oaks

But Haute-Provence is not only nature, many perched villages dominate the heights like sentinels watching over the region. Small cobbled streets that wind between houses to take you to high points, castles or churches. The village squares host local producers’ markets all year round, where you can discover the flavors of the South and fruits picked when ripe.

Le Colorado Provençal

Formed by erosion and by the hand of man this ancient ocher career has seen its landscapes transformed over the centuries.

The site is today marked by a succession of sculptures and ocher cliffs in extraordinary colors ranging from pale yellow to bright red. Partly covered by the forest these mineral sculptures stand up to the azure blue sky of Provence offering an extraordinary landscape.

From the most modest to the most majestic, the villages on this side of the Lubéron perch on the heights overlooking the valley. You are always a few minutes from one of these nuggets: Banon, Simiane the rotunda, Vachère, Bonieux, Oppede the old …. Avignon

The Abbey of Valsainte

The gorges of the verdon

By canoe, electric boat or cruise, the gorges of Verdon can be visited for a day.

The Calanques of Cassis
